Fizz and Molly both have Country Value, Greyhound Maintenance. I get it from my local pet shop (who gets it from Costco). At £9.99 for a 15 kilo bag I think its good value. They mostly eat it dry but I add leftovers to make it more exciting.. Output high but 'manageable'.

Tommy eats for England weighing in at 39.6 kilo! (His a big boy tho his ideal weight is 34 kilo) He's going on a diet as from today! Am looking at feeding him Wafcol greyhound maintenance about cup and a half mixed with Forthglade dog mince (about 4 tablespoons worth) twice a day plus the odd bone or dental stick throughout the day. This a lot less than he has been fed for the last couple of years. Does this sound reasonable, too little or too much?

Depends on the size of the cup. I would be very careful about drastically cutting his food as all he will do is become s nuisance as he will be hungry so bin raiding/ counter surfing will be on the menu for him! When we go on a diet we have will power & know what result were aiming for, hounds just know they're hungry. That's not to say you shouldn't put him on a diet, as we all know an overweight hound is definately not a good thing, just that the gradual approach is best. Good luck & do keep us posted on his "loss"

I just read back what I wrote and tbh that's a ridiculously small amount about 200 grammes of wafcol each sitting with about a beakers worth of dog mince sounds more plausible lol.
