I have started buying 2 lottery tickets a week, if I win I am going to buy a secure field in south Essex so folks can take their greys there and let them off the lead. Yvonne We are in Surrey, just outside Redhill and are lucky in owning the small field (roughly two-thirds of an acre) behind our tiny little house with a long thin garden which gives a total run length of about 140m - bit over 400'; it's fenced all around but only around 3' high (which does keep our two in). If you have not got a space where you feel happy letting your greyhound off the lead, then you are welcome. You might not need a rollover - the five numbers plus bonus might do :-) Sue (aka Bluelou) and Richard

Richard thanks for your very kind offer. I did start letting Cassie off over our local park, but she decided freedom meant she could go further and further away and eventually out of sight . She "cocked a deaf un" when I called her, (the girl will do what the girl wants to do) and when she eventually returned would do the perfect walk to heel (off lead) as if to say" I really am a good girl and know what I'm doing." I will try again to see if she has improved, but won't hold my breath. Yvonne

Hi all, my name is Sally and I live with my daughter Danielle who is 10 and my two greys, Jet and Goldie. I have had Jet for two years this month. He is the laziest greyhound I know, and that is saying something because a lot of them are lazy! He loves all creatures, cats in particular are his friends! Goldie is the complete opposite to Jet. She is still a very keen girl and does NOT like cats, small dogs or most creatures smaller than herself. Local cats (and there are a lot of them) have now learned to tell the difference between Jet and Goldie Hope to see you all soon Sally, Danielle, Jet and Goldie
