Thanks Steve, would be good if she could be reunited with her owner if she hasn't been already. I know Bella is a long shot but when I first got Cass a greyhound was picked up (because she was ill) not too far from me, and she had despite many attempts escaped capture for years. If I were able I'd help in the search for Mr T, I have the time but not the mobility, but wishing his "boys nights out" will come to an end.

there was a sighting today of Mr T, a lady fed him 2 bowls of food because he looked so thin, then he ran off, this was in Naezing. we are trying to find out who the lady was, hopefully he will return again tomorrow, fingers crossed we are closing in on him.

Yaaayyyy !! That IS good news Steve. Now he's found food, he will be back. If owners can find out whereabouts this is, they could now leave some of their clothing, scent, and Mt T's bedding around there to help him feel secure. It may take days, or weeks to gain his trust again, but if he will come regularly for food, they are half way there. DogLost co-ordinator Jo has given good advice on the thread. If the lady would kindly feed him regularly, and perhaps gradually move the bowl into a garden. What an excellent end to the day ! Hope he's home soon now. Keep us posted.

Even better news now Mr T has been found safe and well (if a little thinner). after the sighting and reports yesterday from a lady who fed him some food, we went out last night in search of him, we knew roughly the area where he was seen in the morning. we were walking around calling his name and he appeared, trotting down the pathway to within 30yrds of us, he then turned and ran off before we had chance to get hold of him, we called his owners who came out to help look, 3 hours later around midnight we gave up as there were no further sightings, but at least we knew he was there safe and well. Today his old trainer and girls from the kennels went out to the same spot and found him sunbathing on the grass, his trainer called him and he came running to him. thank you to everyone who has sent messages and offered help and suggestions, it was much appreciated. So glad the boy is back home where he belongs

Thats brilliant and well done to all who gave their time to look for him, he must have been very fond of his old trainer. I bet it will be a long time before Mr T is let off lead again (if ever).

Oh what a relief! I did keep thinking about this poor lad. His owners must have been bedside themselves. What a fantastic team effort from all those involved in the search.
