This is perhaps a slighly odd tip, since it's only indirectly related to Greys. We've had a Dyson DC30 cordless hand held vac for a few weeks now and we've found it to be an invaluable piece of kit. It's not quite a vacuum cleaner replacement, but is great for quickly picking up all the little bits and pieces that pets tend to bring in from out doors and does reduce the amount of main vacuum cleaning required around the house. There are several versions, we've just got the basic one and find it to be a very handy bit of kit. The only negative with this tip is that it'll cost you about £100. We got ours with some Lakeside vounchers Emma got from school when she went on maternity leave. I think the cheapest we could find it when we were looking was from Amazon. If interested you can use the buy.at link and you'll be helping out Greyhoundhomer if you go for one from there.

Oooh - if I showed Nick this he'd be buying one in a flash! ;D He loves all these sorts of gizmos and is also extremely house proud (which is great cos it means I can sit back and watch him blast round with the hoover after the pooches lol! ) I have told him we (me, Vin & GL) could learn to levitate if it made things easier for him! x
