I have some happy news!
On Monday 28th August we officially adopted Alex - he is such a super hound and has come on so far since he came to us as a damaged and traumatised puppy back in October. Those who met him at kennels truly would not recognise him now - I am so proud of his progress :-)
At the same time, we got him a girlfriend - Newlawn Aoife, now called Saffy. She is a dainty girl and although she seemed sweet when we met her, she is proving to be quite the madam and a natural Indigo Dreamer.
I have asked Mark to add a photo of Saffy later - I must work out how to get photos onto the forum - there will be thousands!!!

Congratulations, Sue & Richard!
So glad Alex is now official, you have done so well with him and I'm sure he thinks he is in heaven!
And also congrats on adopting Saffy, she sounds adorable. Looking forward to seeing some photos of her. (Not sure if she's related to Brennan, but he is a "Newlawn," too)

"On Monday 28th August we officially adopted Alex"
Possibly the least surprising news since 'Oliver Reed Dies in Pub'!
Seriously Sue and Richard, well done on adopting him and on all the hard work you put in with your hounds.
re Saffy, are there any female greys who don't have madamish traits?

Alex and Saffy going for a calm walk, a gentle stroll . . . How come they never bite their tongues?

It looks like they have come along in "leaps and bounds", it's so nice to see them so happy.
I remember Alex was so scared, but what a difference now.
Much love
