Hi Pat I thought you might like an update on how Giddy is doing. Well, you were right about the walking. We didn't push it, and then one day he was completely fine and has been a complete star about walking ever since. He still puts the brakes on occasionally, usually in bad weather, but to be honest in those situations I'm always perfectly happy to go home again too! I don't know if you remember but we had to cat train Giddy and weren't sure how it would go. It was a success - I have attached a picture of him calmly hanging out with our cat. They are both watching intently as I was cooking at the time and they were hoping for food. He is booked to start socialisation classes next week as he doesn't respond well to other dogs and will growl at any dog that comes up to sniff him. He does, however, completely adore all humans and regularly marches up to a complete stranger and presents his head for a stroke! Finally, he has recently discovered playing and loves a crazy 10 minutes tearing around the garden with our daughter, it is lovely to see. We love having Giddy here, he is a fabulous addition to our family. Wishing you and Maureen and the team all the best for 2017! Hayley Lockyer
