Nominations are open for the Petplan® & Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) Animal Charity Awards 2017. The awards celebrate the outstanding work and commitment of staff and volunteers in animal charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.
As many of you know last year we had our very own John and Judith from East Midlands RGT as finalists in the volunteer of the year category. This goes to show that your nominations really do count. You all work so hard year-on-year as well as many others at your branch. So please make sure you nominate, so we can have RGT showcased in the final once again to show everyone how amazing you all are!
Now in their fifth year, these inspirational awards provide an opportunity for people to recognise the dedication and commitment of our volunteers and staff who go to great lengths to help and home animals in need.
The categories you can nominate for are:
· Animal Charity Volunteer of the Year
· Animal Charity Employee of the Year
· Animal Charity Team of the Year
The awards provide an important opportunity for us to raise the profile of our charity, and gives due recognition for the achievements and hard work of charity volunteers and staff. So whether you know an ‘unsung hero’ working behind the scenes, or someone who has gone above and beyond to achieve something special, it’s time to nominate! Making a nomination is easy – simply visit www.petplan.co.uk/charityawards!
Don’t forget all nominations are anonymous and you can nominate more than once.
The awards ceremony will take place on 26th April 2017 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. All finalists will have the opportunity to attend, with a guest of their choice, courtesy of Petplan®.
Nominations close on 13th January 2017!
