Adopted my beautiful girl Sasha from Darlington RGT 4 weeks ago ( whom I shall always be in debt to Janet for preparing my girl for a life off the track) yet seeing her napping all day, content and relaxed, we couldn't believe our girl was a former racer. After contacting Sunderland Greyhound Stadium (where she had 9 races) to see if we could find any info about our "quilt hound", we were delighted by their response, whom upon learning we had adopted "one of their own" sent me a DVD of Sashas races free of charge! We had the family round tonight, popped the DVD on the big screen and we cheered our girl on, marvelling at her athleticism, power and grace....while of course Sasha snooozed through the entire presentation, from her quilt in front of couch (legs in the air, tongue hanging out lol) The lady at Sunderland stadium, Carmel, was a credit to the sport, taking so much time to ask about Sasha`s life away from racing, her well being etc and offered some care and advice in Greyhound care. Thank you all Attachment Deleted
