Dear Team
I just wanted to check how you're doing for jam for the Summer shows? I have a pile of fruit and can make some more very easily - let me know by the beginning of August and I'll get jamming :-)

Have had a marathon jamming session to stock Greyhoundhomer for the Summer shows and to clear the freezer of the early summer fruit to make room for the autumn harvest.
Thanks to the roadside fruit sellers of Kent, I've been experimenting with strawberries - strawberry and white chocolate full fruit jam then a delicate strawberry, apple and elderflower jelly with sparkling wine - it's so pretty!
If you're popping in to see Greyhoundhomer at any of the Essex shows then look out for:
Strawberry delight: strawberry, apple and white chocolate
Strawberry Fizz: strawberry, apple and elderflower with sparkling white wine
Midsummer Medley: six fruit jelly (strawberry, peach, cherry, gooseberry, blackcurrant, rhubarb) with French fruit liqueurs
Pimms O'Clock: Lemon marmalade with all the flavour of a Pimms No 1 cocktail
Hot Hot Hot: Four onion and chilli chutney
Fruit & nutcase: Preserved fruit and nut chutney
Go to their stand, buy some jam, adopt a greyhound, you know you want to!

Forgot to mention "Black Forst Delight" - mixed fruit preserve with dark chocolate - yum yum!

Hi Katie
How are you doing for jam? The autumn harvest is here so there will be variations on apple and blackberry and other things that I find in the hedgerows - let me know when you need more.
Regards
Sue
