Our boy Tasty has decided that he doesn't like something in our kitchen, we think that it's the extractor fan or the cooker as he also stares at and backs away from the vent in the wall on the outside of our house. It's getting a bit troublesome now on day 3 of this behaviour, as he sometimes refuses to go through the kitchen to the garden for toilet time and I know sometimes he is desperate! Luckily he hasn't had an accident in the house yet. We've tried all sorts, I've cleaned everything, we've played games that usually loves in there, we give him lots of time and space to go through, lots of encouragement, I've bought an adaptil plug in, I've even stood talking to the cooker, fan and outside vent to show him there's nothing to fear! It's all very frustrating for us all, except from our other grey Peggy who has shown absolutely no interest in any of these things but is cashing in on the extra attention!
Im on a limited timeframe to try and give him all of my attention as I'm due to have a baby in a weeks time, I really want him to relax and go back to our happy boy! Any help is appreciated!

Tasty’s behaviour seems a little strange. Assuming nothing has changed in the kitchen I wonder if you have a fan or motor emitting a high pitched noise which is above the frequency we can hear. Have you tried turning everything off?
We have had a new arrival in the house recently and Darcy did exhibit some odd behaviours in the latter stages. He appeared to know something new was happening even if he did not know what and was quite unsettled. It’s possible Tasty is sensing something different is happening and getting anxious.
Hope all goes well.
