Dear All at Dunstan Greyhound Rehomer, Jo Jo is my Funny Little Valentine! We had an amusing journey home with Jo Jo in the boot looking a bit anxiously as I travelled home to north Essex. How I laughed when I turned on the radio for music, and Jo Jo's ears shot up like bats wings when he heard this. It took us about an hour and as soon as he jumped out of my car in our driveway, he rushed off to do 'what comes naturally', both ends! What a super greyhound he is. We are all settling in well together, Jo Jo, my husband and me. I've even been taken by Jo Jo, hanging on to the end of his lead, to inspect rabbit holes. He loved his biscuits and a mashed tin of sardines in Olive Oil. Should give a shine to his coat. He wiped his mush on the dog blanket in ecstasy, after the meal. Every now and then Jo Jo catches sight of a greyhound in the hall mirror - his face says it all: 'What's another dog doing here? Didn't see him before! I say, he looks kind of dashing. I'll take another look!' So, now he knows he gets fed, and walked, and a bed I don't think he'll put in any complaints to the Management! Thanks to you all for all your expert help and advice. from Judith (Slater).... and Jo Jo Slater

What a cute little dog! It is so nice when they settle so soon and appear so happy!
We have now had our Greyhound Ollie, Pickapocketortwo was his racing name for 18 months and he is a little sweetheart, and we love him to bits. I keep meaning to put some new photos on the website of him and an update.
Everyday I look at the website to see what dogs have been reserved and just love to see them in their new homes, it makes my day.
Good luck with your new pooch........I bet you will want another one before too long, they are addictive!
Much love
Jo and Ollie (Pickapocketortwo)
xx
P.S A little tip for you and anyone else reading this is if you have a dog coat put it over the radiator during the cold spells so when you go out walking it is nice and warm for them when they put it on!
