I feel for you, we had lots of ups and downs with Lou when she going through cancer treatment - it's very wearing, but while they have a will to live it's so worth it :-)
Best of luck - we've spent our fair share of time at the RVC too. Because it's too far for us to drive home and back if they're in as a day case, when Ty was ill, Ollie and I set up camp there - me, Ollie, sheepskin rugs, water bowl, diet coke puzzle book and a pack of digestive biscuits - sweet! :-)

I'll definitely know for next time to take lots of supplies with me! That's a v good idea Sue. Thankfully I found the cafe on Monday so could get a hot drink and stare at different walls for several hours instead.
The fluid build up is getting worse unfortunately and he's on 2 lots of chemo to try to help it but the outlook isn't positive. The oncologists said they hadn't seen anything like it or heard of a dog being able to hold 3.5 litres of fluid in their chest.
Olly the super hero. My poor boy. He's never had so many squishes from people.
I'm like a batty old lady carrying around disinfectant for his toxic poops, but better to be safe than sorry!
Thanks for all your kind words, it really helps xx

Feeling for you - but Olly sounds like such a trooper.
In desperate times with Lou, it always made me laugh that chemo could maje their poo even more "toxic" than normal - it's pretty potent as it is!

Our beautiful boy has passed away, he took a turn for the worst so went to vets and we had to make the hardest decision of our lives. We stayed with him and it was very peaceful, but I know he's not suffering any more.
Making sure Twig is ok now and hoping she won't get too depressed.
Absolutely heartbroken xx

Oh Andrea, I am so so sorry to hear your news - you couldn't have done any more to try and beat his cancer and I'm sure you've done the best for him now :-(
Run free Olly, run free...
