Happy New Year to everyone!
We've had quite a year here and topped it off with one of my step hounds, Archie Beanz, getting Alabama Rot over Christmas!
But we're starting 2016 with good news - Archie has recovered - it's a miracle as only 10% of dogs pull through. I'm also a bit amazed to report that ancient Ollie has made it through, despite looking every bit of his 12 years and 8 months.
My heart bleeds as I remember all the lovely hounds that have gone to the rainbow bridge this year, but it's nice to start 2016 with something to celebrate.

Happy New Year everyone. Here's hoping for a healthy and prosperous one, with lots of hounds rehomed.
Sue, I'm glad that Archie made it. I'd never heard of Alabama Rot before.
