I took Lily for her walk over the fields this morning when she started sniffing in the long grass as she loves to do, when she looked at me she was covered in grass seeds and one was sticking out of her eye, I tried to pull it out but she blinked and it disappeared into her eye, so I took her straight to the vet he had a good look , she stood so still ,such a good girl , but I had to leave her there so that the vet put her out and look under 3rd eyelid. So she is not a happy girl at moment feeling rather groggy. So warning everyone watch out for that long grass. Fred and Lily

The same thing happened to my lurcher Emily last week. Luckily they were able to get it out with only a local anaestheticand me holding her. Still cost me £65 though! I am thinking about making them all wear goggles!! Lol!
