We had the Greyhound scream of death in the garden this evening, Seaney decided to try and have a mad moment, forgetting that he's going on 12. So making a far too tight a turn he lost his back legs and couldn't get up, so I had to help our poor old boy up and carry him in. No harm was done, but I think he was shocked...they just don't just know when they're getting old do they. He's now flaked out after his evening walk.

He may have been trying for an Oscar...he's perhaps a bit like Arnie in "The Last Stand" a bit past it but makes an enjoyable enough outing on celluloid.

Hope that Sean is ok! As we all know, the louder the GSOD, the more trivial the injury - I hope that holds true for him :-)
We recently had our friend's 12 year old greyhound to stay - he was rather doddery running round the garden, but it was obvious that in his mind he was charging round athletically and taking on the world - he looked so happy!
