Herbie, my friend's hound, is staying with us for several weeks for special wound care/nursing following a fracas with his greyhound friend over a chewstick - my fault for turning my back on them for 2 minutes :-( Anyway, it's a long story but Herbie has needed some fairly bulky bandages - mainly to help to stop the dressings from slipping down from the top of his leg. But last week my brilliant vet found these protective sleeves - they've really cut down on the number of bandages needed (saving some cost) and is far more comfortable for Herbie. He still needs some dressings and bandages under the sleeve but at least he doesn't look like an Egyptian mummy any more! Here's a link the sleeve manufacturer's website, though we ordered our via the vet - www.medicalpetshirts.com/index.php/en/ Attachments:

The Medi-boot that they make is pretty good too - much better than a plastic bag over a bandage!
And I'm not on commission :-D
