OMG hope I'm not speaking to soon but think I have found something that Peggy likes! I've tried for so long to find out what she would eat readily and I think I,ve found it. She does'nt like any sort of biscuits mixed in with her meal so its mainly all meat based. She's not a great breakfast eater but will have chicken roll and sauages, pilchards or scrambled eggs if she is in the mood! But the big break through is the frozen chicken mince from Pets at home. Although they say it can be given raw I prefer to cook it with garlic, carrots and any other veg I may have apart from onions of course and a little water. I then mix it with a little of their tribe and rice pate. And whoosh its nearly all gone when she has it in the evenings! Will get her weighed soon to see if she has gained as the last time we went the vet was a little worried as she only weighed 25 kilos. and said she would'nt want her to go any lower. So fingers crossed she,s gained. Will keep you posted. x

You could investigate some of the options from Natures Menu Anne, I've been buying stuff from there for Sean recently after finding it searching for sources for bulk minced beef. So I get that there and the frozen fish fillets as well, which seem to go down well for breakfast...like with Peggy, it's something he actually likes! www.naturesmenu.co.uk

hi sally we feed prince on the chicken mince, we cook it as well. When he was ill not so long ago he lost a bit of weight and the chicken mince bulks him up. we give him the fish mince twice a week which is good for his coat and joints. i get mine from chalkwell pets it is a little bit cheaper, and the husband and wife who own it are very helpful when it comes to greyhounds.

Have you tried her on some cooked pasta, Cass loves it but I don't give her much, I put it in with her meal and it's the first thing she picks out.

I know that some people who feed raw use www.thedogfoodcompany.co.uk. They are very cheap and charge just 36p for 450g of chicken mince.
