We have noticed that after Paddy has been running around in the garden, often his tongue goes blue in the middle for a while. Is this normal, or something we should be concerned about?

Hi, I would get Paddy checked out by the vet just to be on the safe side.

Was there any update as to what was going on here? I did google it and there was some info but it didn't necessarily seem to be relevant.

Yes sorry it's taken me a while to get back on here. We did speak to the vet and she said it was just some pigmentation on his tongue, which appeared more vivid when he'd been exercising because he tongue goes pinker. Nothing to worry about.
Amazing what you learn, eh!

Good news, then, actually Sean has some dark areas on his tongue, but we've not noticed whether they go more blue or not after he's been belting round the garden...that said he doesn't do so much of that now he's pushing on towards eleven.
