Just read a book on Grey's and came across a section on vitamins and the benefits. VITAMIN ( A).-- Food source-- Eggs,Butter-Yoghurt-Meat. Benefits-Skin,Eyes,Hind Legs,Haircoat. VITAMIN (B).--Food Source--Organs,Cottage Cheese,Sardines.Benefits--Appetite,Fleas,Heart,Skin,Coat. VITAMIN(C).--Food Source-- Fruit,Legumes,Leafy Green Veg'.Benefits--Healing,Arthritus,Kidneys. VITAMIN (D)--Food Source--Cod Liver Oil,Cheese,Organs,Eggs.Benefits--Bones,Teeth,Endocrine System. VITAMIN (E)--Food Source--Leafy Green Veg;s,Meat,Wheat Germ Oil. Benefits--Skin,Muscles,Nerves,Healing,Digestion. VITAMIN (F)--Food Source--Fish Oils,Raw Meat.Benefits--Heart,Skin,Coat,Fleas. VITAMIN (K)--Naturally in body Not through food. Benefits-- Blood Clotting. I found the bit about Fleas interesting as an alternative to anything placed on dogs skin that gets into blood system which can be harmful and not recommended.
