We've now had Lucy for more than three months, and even though she's gained weight, her coat hasn't improved much. Her rear end is still very bald and patchy, as are her knees and elbows. She's also a bit scurfy despite having oily fish in her diet. I'm wondering if she could have mites or a fungal infection, and if so, whether or not there's a good medicated shampoo or lotion on the market. I remember years ago we got something from the pharmacy for Elvis -- benzyl something or other, but nobody stocks it anymore. Suggestions please, especially from the owners of all those glossy black hounds out there... thanks.
