We've had a quite a week with the hounds and I've had 6 vet appointments between 3 dogs in 4 days - is this a record?? But wait, there's another one to come on Sunday so that brings us up to seven in a week barring any emergencies tomorrow and Saturday....
Lou started the week with an infection (probably bladder) which raised her temperature and made her very ill indeed - I thought she was a goner but 24 hours after an antibiotic injection she miraculously perked up. So that's one hound on antibiotics for a week (plus all her usual kidney/joint medication).
Lynx followed up with a visit to the doggie physio, then one to the vet because he has a strange intermittent cough - turns out that he's got tonsillitis - there the next hound on antibiotics (plus his usual muscle pain/spasm meds).
And finally----Ty had a benign tumour removed from his toe, then the vet spotted a problem with one of his canine teeth (long story) so he had a tooth removed too (big op) - so that's the last hound on antibiotics (and pain meds).
Lynx has been too busy screaming after his antibiotic injection to write his diary but he will do one when he's recovered :-)

Sue, sorry your houndies have been through the mill, wishing them well, maybe you should invest in some super large cotton wool rolls and bangade them from head to toe! Hope your bank balance also has a speedy recovery after all those vet bills!

I'm happy to report that they are on the mend - especially Ty - apart from the fact that there's a bandage on his foot you wouldn't know he'd had an op - he's that cheerful!
Christmas presents may well be home-made this year :-)

What is the name of the vets, I need to see if I can buy some shares in their business!!!
Hope your hounds recover quickly and stay better for more than a few weeks!
