Hiya Pat Hope you are well..... A friend of my friend Gill has just had her two very timid staffordshire bull terriers stolen from outside Asda in Shoeburyness. They are black and black and white, two girls (Mollie and Millie) There has been rumour that there is a guy going round stealing them to get them involved in fights....do you hear of anything like this?...Im sure Ive seen staffordshire bull terriers or similar at the track at the kennels, is their a racing industry for them? any help you can give Pat would be grateully received thank you Lisa

I have recently seen a poster in Hadleigh(not too far from shoeburyness)that said dogs were being stolen from outside shops etc to be either used to sell to animal testing labs or used as bait in dog fighting .Hope the owner gets her pets back safe and well x

I managed to get these two poor babies registered on DogLost late last night. But owner needs to contact DogLost straight away with the full details and we need photos. They can be emailed to me or to the site, or can be sent to my mobile phone via text and I can get them on. I stress that owner needs to get in touch with DogLost who are awaiting info urgently. Yes... its very serious and worrying. I have emailed and texted Lisa about this, so hope the owner gets in touch soon. Hazel Here are the links to their pages www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=30922&status=Lostwww.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=30921&status=LostSorry I was not online until really late last night, but if anyone needs help like this, Pat has my mobile.

How awful, its bad enough losing dogs, never mind the added worry about some scumbags out there. Here's really hoping they are both found safe and well.

Lisa is still trying to get owners details from her contact, and until then we are stuck. Need photos too, to get the posters out. Local co-ordinator Jo is trying to get someone who lives near Asda to see if there is a poster up. If anyone reading this is near Asda at Shoebury and can take a look, we need all the details from the poster, especially contact numbers, and perhaps if you have a camera phone, please photograph the photo on the poster and email it to me, (my addie is in members contacts) or text it to my mobile. Pat and Mark have that number. Time is of the escence here I'm afraid.

Ok ... Number has been aquired by Jo, the Essex co-ord, and all information now on the pages. Still awaiting photos, but they will be on soon now. Here are the links again, with updates. www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=30922www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=30921A good description given there, of the people responsible .... There was a man and a woman aged 20 - 30, and a younger guy also. The woman was tall, bleached hair, flowery dress with long (ankle length) brown cardigan. The older guy was fairly well dressed with a crew cut.

Oh God !! They are both home !! This has made my day. Don't know much at the moment except that they were on Canvey. How lucky were they ? Oh I'm so pleased.

Glad to hear the dogs have been recovered. There's another important message here, never leave any dog tied up outside a shop and unattended - it's a recipe for disaster.
