Ours have a mixed diet but they don't get much milk - they are well farty, but in the end we don't care - there's worse things - like the smell of boiling tripe!

Ben has wheetabix for breakfast, with weak gravy and a tablespoon live bio yoghurt, supposed to be good for preventing 'wind' and either it is working or he is not a farty dog! We have been told that live yog is o.k, but cows milk can be hard to digest?? We did find that when we fed wheetabix with dilute milk Ben got upset tummy.

I did try Baby with weetabix and cows milk diluted with water and she didn't seem too keen on it.I buy her the top life dog milk now which is goats milk, apparently more digestible for dogs, and she loves it.

I mix natural yoghurt and a little warm water with Cass complete food as a snack and she dosn't have any wind problems. I found that when we fed charcoal biscuits to our 2 dobies and jack russel, one of the dobes started eating the other 2 dogs poo, stopped the charcoal biscuits and he stopped the munching!!!
