Hi everyone. Thought I would give you an update on my Trevor. As some of you may know we have had a few hic-cups but everyday there is an improvement in his behaviour. It has'nt been easy for him to adjust to his new lazy, warm and loving life but he is beginning to realise how much he is loved and that he can relax and trust me when I tell him I WILL be back when I walk out of the door to go to work etc. We attend classes to help him socialise with other breed of dogs every Thursday too. So Im confident by Xmas I will have an even more adorable hound! Love you Trevor. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well done for persevering - it sounds as if you're being rewarded in spades.
They are very much a work in progress - Ty, our foster dog, is doing very well but it's all little baby steps - he's such a cuddly hound though and well worth the effort.

I've never had a greyhound before and I'm finding them a really unique kind of dog. And we've had a few minor things with Brennan (eg nocturnal barking) which went away and then came back for a few days after his boat trip with his new found greyhound mates last weekend! Trying to figure out what makes them tick can be an interesting business!!

Hi. Just wanted to give an up date on Trevor and how he is coping on being left. I can see in his eyes as well as his behaviour that he is slowly realising that I will ALWAYS come home and is beginning to relax when he knows my impending departure is near! Infact most times he goes straight to his bed rather than trying to beat me to the open door! I had to muzzle him as he liked to eat the wooden door and frames in his effort to get out and find me! But I have left him now several times to go to work without the muzzle and touch wood, pardon the pun, he has been such a good boy and by the looks of things has just done what greys are good at........sleep! I'm so proud of my TRevor. He has come such a long way in the short time we have been together and I am so pleased that I did'nt give up on him because he's such a lovely boy. Must say a big thank you again to everyone especially Pat, Carol and Mark for helping me through the first three or four weeks. Don' know what we would of done without you. x
