Here are a few tips when using Photobucket to post pictures on this forum. Firstly as a general rule of thumb the best size for pictures seems to be 800 x 600. So how do you set your picture to 800 x 600 resolution? Well if you can set it when you upload your picture(s) to Photobucket. If you look at Figure 1 it highlights where you click to set the size of the picture during uploading. Figure 1 - more options Figure 2 - more options (after selecting Bulk Uploader option) Figure 3 shows what you'll see when you click on the " show options" link highlighted in Figures 1 & 2. To set 800 x 600 click on the radio button next to 800 x 600 and select " Save". Figure 3 If you have already uploaded a picture perhaps at the default resolution of 1024 x 768, then it can still be resized. To do this select the album the picture is in, then click on the picture to see it larger. As you move your mouse over the larger image you should see a menu appear at the top, one of the options is resize, see Figure 4. Select the 800 x 600 option to change the size. Figure 4 If you want to try your hand at doing some fancy stuff with your picture click on the " Edit" link to the left of the screen. See Figure 5. Figure 5 You will then be sent to an online editing suite where there are a large number of options, you might like to 'play'. See Figure 6. Figure 6

Don't worry. I've been on this forum for over 2 years and I've only just got the hang of it!
Go into photobucket.
Click on photo/album you want to use. To the right (or is it the bottom of the pic) you get a grid with choice of settings.
Go down to the one starting IMG.
Hover over it with cursor (it goes yellow and says copied). Go back to the forum, hit ctrl V and it should then appear on screen.
Hope it works.
If all else fails ask |Mark

The CTRL V bit is pasting the link you copied into the message you're creating.

My Pics don;t seem to be appearing? Doing all the above and then when I copy and paste the IMG link and save the post...there's just a small square the same as the 'insert image' icon in the toolbar. No actual image? I can't actually see any images in Marks picture step by step guide at the top of this page...and just the little icons I described by the words 'figure 1..figure 2" etc.
