My 11yr old grey is losing his hair an I'm not sure why. Can anyone suggest a cure? Its not BTS. Its clumps on the side of his body more than the thighs. I feel bad for him because he's also a corn dog and has awful teeth, he seems to have all the issues whereas the others are fine! They all eat the same so if there is something I can give him to supplement his diet please let me know. Thanks in advance, Dexter & Sam

Sorry I don't know know what is BTS. I do know that last year my then 6 year old girl went bald on her hindquarters and the whole length of her under belly. She looked awful and I was glad when it rained because I could at least put a coat on her and cover it up.
I started giving her Bob Martin's Vetzyme conditioning tablets, they are a source of B-complex vitamins that amongst other things guards against poor coat and skin troubles. Today her coat looks shiny and healthy, a picture of health. Maybe worth a try?

I don't know what BTS is, either!
I presume you have checked there are no sore patches, which may indicate mange? (and easily caught, where they are lots of foxes).
When Willow was losing some hair initially I rubbed aloe vera gel on the thinning patches, BUT then I stopped using it when I read that it is poisonous if they ingest it, by licking it off.
I then used brewers yeast powder, which is rich in B vitamins (and they sell it in Holland & Barrat) and it helped quite a lot.
Natural oats are also a good source of B vitamins.
Good luck!

Cod liver oil on the bald spots promotes hair growth, a little bit daily will stop the skin going dry just gently rub it in
