Hi All,
For the past 2 days, one of Trillian's eyes has been making a greyish mucus-like gunk. Not in huge amounts - it looks a bit like sleep but I'm worried as it seems to be constantly there no matter how often we wipe it away. I also noticed her pawing her face a little bit this morning.
She's had a quite an eventful week as she chased a cat up a tree and scraped one of her carpal pads and scuffed up her dew claws - it's definitely put me into fussy owner mode!
Could she have something in her eye? Or does it sound like infection? We're going to try and get her to the vets this evening or tomorrow to check her over. Does it sound like something people have encountered before?
Thanks for your help!

It sounds like an eye infection to me. Our first greyhound Bluey had a similar thing and the vet gave us some eye drops for it. I can remember constantly wiping the muck away.
I hope he gets on ok at the vets.

Update:
Vet has given us some eye drops for conjunctivitis. Trillian has been incredibly well behaved both at the vets and at home with the drops. Hoping for a speedy recovery now.

I am so glad that all went well at the vets, and it must be a weight off your mind knowing it is nothing serious.
Get better soon Trillian.
