Spot Celebrating his 5th Birthday.
Well, the training of my hooman’s (parents and grandparents) is going very well. I get to pick the best places to sleep. My favourite night-time game is kicking my mum out of bed so that I can have cuddles with my daddy.
I make sure that I am firmly in the centre of any of the plans that my family make. Just recently I went on holiday and conned a lot of people into thinking that I was a poor little boy, who needed lots of strokes, cuddles and of course tip bits. My mummy told me I was a very good boy (well most of the time), because when we stopped to eat lunch in local pubs I didn’t bother anyone, with the exception of my family of course.
I had my first steam train ride and that was fun, I got to look out of the window and saw lots of sheep. Mum said they would really appreciate my noise work art on their clean windows.
I’m celebrating my birthday with a lovely birthday cake and presents. My mummy and nanny tell me that I am a very spoilt little boy, but I know that they wouldn’t have me any other way.
I’ve recently started school cos I was a little bit naughty a few months back, but Mum’s impressed with how well I’m doing and I am trying to be a good boy, well enough that I don’t get into trouble again.
My family think I’m accident prone as I have been involved in a couple of incidents recently that has taken to me the very nice people at the vets. My mum said it was a novelty because I went to the vet to have my booster vaccinations rather than to get them to fix me after I’ve broken myself.
I will let you know how my family are shaping up in case I want to reconsider this arrangement. Who am I kidding; it will take me ages to train another family.
Love Spot
P.S. I know my mum would like to say again thank you for trusting me into their care, cos they love me to bits and cannot imagine life without me.
