Hello,
I Hope this is alright to post on here,
I have 3 retired babies of my own. I fell in love with Greyhounds whilst working for many years at a small family run Kennels.
My First adopted Greyhound Cody (Ballymac Yasnil) came from Ireland to the kennels when she was 14months old. she stayed there whilst racing and at 4 she had
her 1st Litter. The whole litter stayed at the kennels through their racing career and where loved and raised as pets. As puppies we spent hours with them racing around playing tag, fetch and Find me in the massive garden. I truly fell in love with their loving gentle trusting nature, I was Hooked !!!
They lived Indoors when they wernt racing (thankfully not all at once) which meant there was always at least 1 of them on the sofa.
That's how I eventually got my other two, Lil who didn't like racing so she came home to live with me when she was 2 and her brother Frank a couple of years later.
The reason I'm writing this is that Cody had another litter before she came home with me, They weren't sold either and they were were raised exactly the same as before.
Tessa was one of the other kennel hands, he didn't keep her as promised and when she retired he rehomed her through Greyhoundhomer RGT Dunton.
I would of loved to keep her but already had a house full.
I went to see her there and took her for a walk, she was only there a matter of weeks before she was homed in Feb 2014
I have always looked out for her on here but havn't seen anything.
If any one has adopted her on here I really would love to know how she is doing. I have loads of photos of her to pass on from when she was born right up to just before she left.
Her racing name was Cody's Girl and her pet name is Tessa she's 8 years old now.
She was born in March 2008 Her dam: Ballymac Yasnil and Sire: Toms the Best
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks Michelle
