In February we fell in love with our great girl Calling Mandy and nog we have a lovely sister for her at home, since yesterday. She is called Gini by us now, her race name was Kevins Wee Lady. Again such a lovely brindle girl. A bit more afraid from few things then Mandy was, but on the other side more enthousiastic when she sees us coming. This morning a very big cry and bark at 4.30 am...hopefully she sleeps a little bit longer tomorrow. She already takes our stairs from first moment, like a crazy jumping hound, I have to calm her down and take her tight by her collar. Mandy took 4 days to take the stairs. Gini is really afraid from being feeded...any idea why this is? Not for treath but for her meal... poor girl.
She will settle down very soon I think, she really comes along with Mandy. Our 2 little terriërs tell her her place, but it will work out. She agrees so..

She's such a lovely girl Pat! We are already so proud of her and proud of Mandy, Mandy is acting like they have always been together. It's getting better, the feeding. I put the bowls down and dont make eye contact...yesterday evening she even eated her fresh meat, slowly and carefull, but she did!
So so proud!
Thank you Pat for saving her and them and all the others!
Now we are full because we also have the littles ones but in future we certainly choose another one!
They are great! Very easy going and different to our terriër dogs!

Well done for taking another greyhound on, she sounds like she is coming along just fine. It is nice that she has started eating, but an idea I have had is why don't you give her some doggy choc drops when she finishes her meal as a treat, that way she may think that once she finishes her meal her reward is choccy drops, and this may encourage her to eat and see eating as a pleasant experience!
Ollie loves choc drops, I give him about ten after his evening meal as a pudding!
Well done, best wishes
