Hi Paul, Long time no speak I see the lovely Mo is as beautiful as ever, another pub to add to your list is the Royal Oak here in frozen Ockendon, Dogs are most welcome in there including the Restaurant, Frank is quite well known in there now and has his own corner, not that we frequent public houses that often BOB!!!

Hi Alison, thanks - Mo gets more beautiful as she gets older! But then I'm just a little bit biased! I don't understand why pubs that can accommodate dogs, don't. I just won't use a pub that's not dog friendly!

Same here, holidays, days out etc all depend whether Frank is allowed or not.

Royal Oak (Ockendon) is that the one that sits at the back of the green near the camping shop?

Yes thats the one, its just been taken over and now serves a fantastic Sunday Roast. We normally meet there after a walk or from the kennels on a Sunday.

I cant believe he took you to the camping shop and didnt take you to the pub, definately in the dog house I think!!
We go there every sunday lunch for dinner and it really is excellent, if you were coming out of the shop and the pub is on your right, I am the second on the left Copper Beech Road, tiny culdesac.
Nicky, if you were to come out of the kennels, turn left then right at the top and keep going, it comes up on the right hand side, its set back next to a pub on a green.
Maybe we could organise a Sunday afternoon Roast Dinner meeting, anyone interested??

I cant believe he took you to the camping shop and didnt take you to the pub, definately in the dog house I think!! Or sleeping in his tent in the back garden for the next month!! ;D And with this extra round of snow too for extra punishment You could always chuck in an extra sheet if you felt charitable ;D I personally wouldn't bother if it was me. I'd just turn the central heating up ;D

Sounds a good idea Alison. Especially if it greyhound friendly. Nicky
