Hi all,
As some of you may know I took Jimmy home two weeks ago tomorrow to my dads. I was hesitant as my dad has cats and was extremely anxious about it. I am pleased to say Jimmy is getting on fine with the cats. He had one incident but I think he was woken from his sleep by a cat running through the house and he forgot where he was! He had his muzzle on so it was all fine and no cats or dogs were harmed! Since then we haven't had any other causes for concern and they all walk past eachother without incident.
He is a lovely boy who just loves a fuss. He sleeps a lot during the day so that suits dad fine. Dad really enjoys doing the walk in the park and he sits over there on a bench for a while in the afternoon with Jimmy by his side.
He does have a really playful side and he has a mad half hour when I go round every evening. He loves his toys although what with the cats I am staying away from buying him anything fluffy or animal like just incase he was to confuse a toy and a cat! He loves a good tennis ball and he looks at people playing on the tennis court with the face of 'me,me, me'.
If anyone can give advice on what food they are feeding their dogs it would be helpful. I was buying James wellbeloved but it is quite pricey. I tried some grain free stuff and he hated that. So that's £8 down the drain! Last night I bought some Bakers Complete to try and he seems to like that. I tend to mix it with some chicken or a sachet of dogs food to liven it up a bit. Dad gives him weetabix in the morning with diluted milk and water. Then I feed him when I get in which is about a mugful of the dried food mixed with something else. Am I giving him enough or should I be giving him more?
He is a lovely dog and dad has said you couldn't get a better dog which I am so pleased about. I hope it continues and we all a fab life together!

Ps I would add pics but I can't suss the photobucket thing out!
