Hi Megan
Thank you for your message and for the photos.
All going very well here thank you and, sorry, but we did change her name as she did not answer to Linda for any of us but came readily for any tasty treats!
We’ve called her Keeva as she’s an Irish dog, it’s a Gaelic name meaning gentle/precious/beautiful which seems to suit her gentle nature and film star good looks!
Photos of her attached were taken on Saturday morning after breakfast using the Polar bear strategically placed for use as a pillow and then one later in the evening.
She has since taken over the 6’ couch in the living room as one might expect from any self respecting Greyhound.
She was a bit restless the first evening/night but, from Friday lunchtime onwards, has been very relaxed, eating all her food, enjoying her walks and, generally, seeming very much ‘at home’.
I slept downstairs the first 4 nights but went to bed last night and she went through the night on ‘her’ couch until 0615 this morning with no bother at all.
She has met 2 Jack Russells, a Lancashire Heeler, a couple of Labs and 57 Varieties, various people in my village over the weekend and seen some traffic and motorbikes but those not too close up until she becomes more accustomed to that sort of noise.
She’s in the office for the first full day today and, again, seems very relaxed, taking in all the new sights and sounds but not at all stressed just curious.
Otherwise, all good and she’s no problem in the car either, could not wish for a sweeter dog.
I’ll update you from time to time but it tends to get very busy in here in the summer months and I’ve got no internet or e-mail at home at present so hearing from me may be a bit spasmodic.
Best wishes
Sarah
