Just wanted to give you some feedback on Wuhan City, whom we collected from Dunton almost 2 weeks ago. You may recall that he was terribly nervous and an anxious, jittery dog.
We did have some unexpected problems for a little while - he was barking furiously - almost continually - and weeing on his bed over and over. Never have we bought so many cheap duvets!
After a few days he stopped barking at his new family but did continue to bark at the radiators, aeroplanes, people passing by, his reflection, paper bags - the list was endless.
However, he has now really started to settle and his beautiful affectionate nature is starting to shine. He's been dry for a few days now (thankfully, the smell was getting a bit much!) and is now only barking in excitement when it's treat time or walkies time.
When I met City at John Simpson's kennels, I knew that my cousin's house would be perfect for him as my cousin has a quiet house and is a very gentle, patient lady. Her existing dog, Willow, has accepted Woody (as he's now known) and they often settle down together.
He's adorable and much loved already.
Many thanks for all that you do in finding homes for these beautiful dogs.
