Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedWell, just over 24 hours and he's settling in well. Had us running after his toys this morning which we found funny. He doesn't like the stairs very much, so any suggestions to help would be appreciated. Already making be impressions with extended family. Already part of our family.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! He looks like he's been with you forever! Love the speckles.
Can't advise about the stairs, I'm afraid, ours never go upstairs!

I am sooo thrilled Spot is doing well. I must say he was one of my faves to walk. I know i shouldn't have faves! Such a lovely boy and always excited to go on his walk.
Good luck with the stairs., I am sure he will soon get the hang of them!

Hi all, thanks for the kind words. He climed the stairs with Steve's help this morning and has gone up and down them a couple of times. I think he's curiosity got the better of him or he smelled the treats I picked up.

Hi All, just to update everyone. Spot is doing very well, he has everyone running around after him. My parents love having him when we are out for a long time. Swe are having discussing the finer points of ownership, he loves stealing shoes, scarves not to mention toys, he invented his own version of fetch. He takes his toys outside and we retrieve them.
We introduced him to the neighbours and their dog who I think Spot found funny. He's met another greyhound who has been taken in by a neighbour they get on very well so need to arrange another play date.
He barked for the first time today. We cannot imagine our life with him. Thank you for allowing us to give our boy a home.....
