Did anyone see this on magazine section of the BBC news website? www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-28420246 This is something I knew nothing about. Loved the reason the boxes were introduced after Brighton Bob was caught out. Can't see my two being that useful. They would be found sleeping or maybe in Roma's case hunting the station cat. Ian

Maybe when our 2 cherished ones go to meet their maker we should get them stuffed, put on wheels and still carry on taking them to Pets at Home!!!* Trouble is greyhounds often seem comatose, so not sure if most customers would notice the difference!
I have seen the stuffed dog at Slough station, but have always been in a hurry to catch the connecting train to Maidenhead to have time to read the tale about him!
* only joking folks, I will be heartbroken when they go
