Hi, Just a little introduction. We are new adopters; in January we lost our elderly and well-loved Jack Russell and his passing left a huge doggy-shaped hole in our lives. Then two-and-a-bit weeks ago we went up to the open day at Russet Greyhound Sanctuary near Camborne (it's very near to us) and fell in love. Gorgeous black Crystal (Droopy's Willow) came to us and has lit up our lives. From being a little shy, she's got a lot more confident and has learnt to use the stairs. Hoovers, washing machines and TVs leave her unfazed and she loves everyone who pops in! If I can work out how to upload an image or two here, I'll do so. :-) Good to 'meet' you all and I look forward to learning a lot about greyhounds!

Thanks Mark. I'll have to keep an eye out for them. It's good to be on a forum with so many knowledgable folks. The RGT is doing a fantastic job.

Hiya and welcome. We've had our girl 2 years now. Never knew much about greyhounds before big have loved every minute with Silky. Never a dull moment once you own a hound they're so amusing and we still see new parts of her character coming out now. Enjoy every minute
