Hi in need of a little help !
We have had the lovely 'joe' living with us since last july and apart from a couple of 'accident's' in the house when he first came things have been pretty good.
Past couple of days we have had a couple of issues and i'm interested to hear anyone's thoughts.....
two nights ago i got up to find he had peed in our dining room, no apparent reason for it at all, he had been out for his walk quite late the night before and did the necessaary so couldnt really understand it, so we just put it down to a little accident. Then today while i was in the house (only popped upstairs for 5mins) he went into our hall and peed all over and in my shoes! Again he has been out for his morning walk and been out to relieve himself in the garden twice today! i have used a proper cleaner that i purchased from a pet store to make sure there is no scent or residue for him to pick up on another time....
any thought's much appreciated!

There's a similar thread here I've linked to below, was it really a wee, or was it just scent marking? I seem to remember both are discussed in this thread. greyhoundhomer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=training&action=display&thread=276We've been lucky enough to not have this sort of experience with Sean, but we have had it with one of our cats, if he gets stressed he some times 'spots'. Presumably the dog has the run of the whole of the downstairs of the house over night, and you don't have him upstairs with you?

yeh, he's downstairs at night, never seemed to of been a problem, to be honest i think after he has settled down from his evening walk it's almost like he wants us to go up to bed so he can have the sofa all to him self and a bit of piece and quiet!
i will check out the thread thanks
