I'm new to the forum, and thought I'd pop in to say hello
Unfortunately we don't have a dog at the moment. We both work full time and have 10 cats next door, but we'd love one of our own (if a super cat friendly one exists). We are also volunteers for Greyhound Walks so we're 'Auntie and Uncle' to lots of Greyhounds and Lurchers, and we have my Mum's Greyhound George and Collie X Millie for B&B. They live with cats and have ignored next door's cats so far.
Look forward to catching up soon

Welcome!
Do next door's cats come into your garden? Bloomin' cheek if they do!
It is nice to be a greyhound auntie though - I'm mummy to big scaredy wuss jellyboy Ty and little Ollie - both delightful black greyhounds with sad histories but now living the dream :-) I'm auntie to countless greyhounds and step-mummy to my friend's seven hounds - you can't have too many hounds in your life!
You'll get to know my pack via their blogs (they're very talented writers) and, if you're ever at the Greyhoundhomer event, you'll get to know my jam - the same says it all - I'm Sue and I make jam - around 600 pots a year, which I donate to my favourite charities :-)
Enjoy the forum - we're a friendly bunch!

Welcome to the forum, always someone to help if you have a problem, I have been very grateful for their kind advice. There are some lovely films of greyhounds playing with cats on U tube. Fred and Lily.

Welcome to the forum. You don't have to have a greyhound to come on here- although no doubt you'll succumb in the end!
I used to view this forum for quite a while before I got the first hound (have a second one, too) Geyhounds are addictive, so beware!!

Thank you for the lovely welcome Yes, the cats do come in the garden, despite our best efforts to keep them out Although I think they're learning, as they seem to disappear when George and Millie visit

It's been a while since I've been on here so thought I'd pop by and say hello, again! I got married last year (hence the slight change of name) but sadly we still don't have a dog I can dream
