If you see the above presented to you in a popup DO NOT under any circumstances click to download \ install link to the so called update! The popup has been doing the rounds on all sorts of websites hiding behind what appears to be a legitimate message. It may well install Adobe Flash, but it will also install a load of ad carrying software as well, scumware, adware a virus, call it what you will, if you are presented with anything like it avoid! Most if not all Windows users will have Flash installed on their machines and usually it will tell you when you need to update or you may have automatic updates switched on in the software so it will auto update. If in doubt about any prompts to update any software you have on your machine go to the creators website and update your software there with a download. To update any of Adobes common free products the links are: Adobe Acrobat Reader - get.adobe.com/uk/reader/Adobe Flash Player - get.adobe.com/flashplayer/Adobe Air - get.adobe.com/air/Adobe Shockwave Player - get.adobe.com/shockwave/Please note that it is NOT necessary to install any of the products offered with any of these free downloads. Whilst they are bonefide products they will not affect or improve the functionality of any of the Adobe products.
