Today we took Bertie to the dog park- he hasn't been for two years due to him recovering from he's op. we arrived and within seconds of getting out the car he knew where we were! He dragged me all the way to the gate where he peed continuously! (no surprise for bert!) There was a boxer and a Dalmatian and they played wonderfully together ;D At this point Bertie still hadn't had a full sprint - which he used to do all the time...well I started jogging and Bertie suddenly turned into a puppy- he started to go down on he's front, jump and prance around. It truly was a joy to see. Later on we were joined by a staffie, all four dogs chased eachother (and continued to pee haha) then a jack Russell joined and Bertie sprinted over to the owners; What a shock for them! But they absolutely loved him and enjoyed seeing all five dogs altogether. What a fab day, I'm still so proud of Bertie and love owning him- he really is a treasure ;D Attachments:

Bertie seems to have had a great time!! Which park do you take him to as I am looking for a place for Ted to run free safely?

It's a secure park just off the A127; if you head towards Southend you find a right turning just before asda/tesco (can't remember which one!) as you go down the turning the dog park is on your left. It's not massive but it's perfectly safe- even a small puppy jack Russell was in there yesterday. Most owners are lovely but I normally approach them first hand and introduce Bertie to make sure they realise that he is perfectly safe and will follow them as he's being friendly not because he wants to eat them haha
