Hello
I have been a greyhound owner for over three years now. We sadly lost our first greyhound Merlin on New Year's Day. Life was unbearable without him so we now have Seamus, a white and black three and a half year old who has settled in really well.

Hi! Welcome to the forum. I know just how you must have felt as I lost my first greyhound, Dolly, last March and it left such a hole in my life. As a result I adopted Ted just two weeks later and have never looked back. He is the total opposite to Dolly in that he is a 'mischief' but I just say 'he is learning'! I'm glad Seamus is settling in so well. Witnessing a new dog progress and learn is so rewarding. Look forward to seeing you at one of our events perhaps.

Sorry to hear about your loss Dianne, but pleased you've given a home to Seamus. I'm sure he'll bring as much happiness and fun as Merlin did.

Welcome to the forum. So sad about Merlin, but each grey is special in their own way, and Im sure Seamus will bring much joy.

Welcome to the the forum Dianne and congratulations on your new addition. So sad when we lose a pet, I found my home didn't seem like a home when I lost Amber my Dobie, but Cass (my first greyhound ) soon sorted that out.
