All these greyhounds together and absolutely no problems, even accepting all the normal pet dog's we came across. We did however come across some idiot and his wife who didn't like greyhound. A few seconds of film, I missed most of it as my little legs couldn't get there quick enough. youtu.be/2olJbCupnPI

Nice to see so many greys in one place- maybe I'll gate crash next year, as although I got my 2 from Pat/Ockenden, Chingfords not far from me.

Lovely film thank you. Ignoring the mouthy idiot, I loved the little child with the grey on a lead, just shows how gentle and easy to walk greyhounds are.

Lovely film thank you. Ignoring the mouthy idiot, I loved the little child with the grey on a lead, just shows how gentle and easy to walk greyhounds are. You’re right about that idiot we met over Connaught Water Yvonned but it was double trouble. He had a wife with him that looked decidedly odd too. The language from both of them was horrendous, especially with all the woman and children present. We had only just arrived at the water when we met them, along with their dogs, both Sharpies. One of the greyhounds defecated and the man who owned him was clearing up when this person appeared and started shouting his mouth off to the chagrin of everybody else. There were many greyhounds there which stretched nearly all the way around the water only for us to find he was waiting to have another go when we returned to our starting point, this time at the woman which turned into a real row. I took the few seconds of video when he went past me to get him on tape as I only heard what was going on up front but couldn’t see it. That is why I added that on, he might have hit somebody and besides, people who live in the area will be able to see him on film and know it might be advisable to go a different way if they espy him in future. Thankfully it didn’t detract from a lovely afternoon in Epping Forest, the common and The Butlers Retreat with all those responsible greyhound owners present..

Perhaps he objected to so many houndies on " his patch" especially if he had trouble parking. Glad you all had a nice afternoon, there was certainly a good turnout.
