We took Mousha on her first holiday last week. We stayed in a holiday cottage in Norfolk. I just want to say how proud I am of my baby girl. She was good as gold and didn't put a paw wrong. She was absolutely fantastic whenever we were in the car. She just lay down quietly on the back seat and we didn't hear a peep out of her. We took her into shops, a pub, a church and lots of places she hadn't been in before. We were really worried that she might leave a little sign that she had been in these places (if you get my meaning) but she didn't, not once :-D She just took it all in her stride and was so well behaved. After a couple of nights we even felt we could leave her for a little while in the cottage while we went out for a meal. We bought her a marrowbone and gave it to her when we went out. When we got back she was lying on her bed contentedly chomping on her bone. I don't think she'd even noticed we'd gone. There were no puddles or mess or any kind. ;D I know a lot of greyhounds will find this an absolute disgrace, but she didn't even make any attempt to chase the many rabbits that were around!!!! So again, I want to say well done baby girl. Mummy is sooooo proud of you

Well done Mousha. Betty loves going away (which we do often at this time of year) and she always behaves well. She loves going to different places and finding people to make a fuss of her . She particularly likes going to pubs and the ones we use (in Suffolk) make a big fuss of dogs and usually have treats for them

That's a great tale - seeing greyhounds doing what they do best i.e. chlling out, is the best advertisment for having one...

I think Mousha really enjoyed her time away as well. She got made a fuss of by so many people and she loved exploring all the sights and places and sniffing all the new smells. Yes Pat, I am very proud of Mousha and she means the world to me. I can't take all the credit for training her, as my mum had a hand in it as well
