Hello all,
Myself and my wife, yesterday agreed to re-home the lovely Nitro! We really felt sorry for him and how nasty his previous owner had been and really wanted to give him a good loving home.
He was so well behaved when we took him for a walk and could see how happy he was.
We pick him up on the 8th of June and are very exited.
p.s. Thanks to all the staff that helped us yesterday you were great, and do a fantastic job in looking after all the greyhounds.

Hi Chris
Congratulations on adopting Nitro. He was my sponsored dog and I always walked him when I came down to Ockendon. He's had a hard time but despite that he's a lovely gentle boy who deserves a loving forever home. He won't care if its wet or not so sunny in Southend, he just wants lots of love and cuddles. He will make you a wonder pet.
I bet you are already counting the days to 8 June.
Look forward to hearing about his progress.

Hi Chris ! Thank you so much for choosing Nitro. As Pat said, he's been through such hard times, and he is such a good boy. A few of us who walk, have fallen for him, and he really so needs a new forever home. I'm sure you will be over the moon with him. He is such a gentle boy. We have Grace and Spring, who came home with us last year, and we love them to bits. Looking forward to meeting you, so hopefully you will bring Nitro along to some of the events. Good Luck, and I hope you have a great life together. Hazel

I would like to thank you; Nitro is a lovely dog an absolute pleasure to walk and we get to walk him every weekend.
You have saved me from the constant daily headache of let’s get a 3rd dog, and Nitro. It will not take both my wife a daughter to long to identify a new hound to advise me on, but for now quietness.

Congratulations on giving Nitro his forever home! I'm not aware of his past troubles, poor boy, but I am sure he will reward you in bucket loads for the love you will give him. Look forward to hearing all about him when he gets home! This forum is very helpful if you have any queries along the way. (We have had Brennan for almost a year and although still rather nervous at times in strange situations has grown in confidence and personality). It's so lovely to see them develop, in our case from a dog who really didn't seem to relate to humans to one who skips with sheer joy and exhubherance to go out with you for his early morning walk- priceless!

Congratulations and well done on adopting Nitro. I don't know him personally, but he sounds like a lovely boy. I am so pleased and happy that he will now be going to the loving and caring home that he deserves, after having such a difficult past
