Well done you and well done Rodger, looks like he is going to be a very spoilt boy...
31 friends? Guess he has that "greyhound" sparkle.

He is one seriously handsome boy, and congratulations and well done to you for rehoming him. He has a good thick coat on him, and i love the blue colour. Give it a few weeks, plenty of brushing and that kennel coat is fully out, he will look extra stunning. We have some fine toothed gadget to get the undercoat out, but can't think what the name of it is? It's great for getting our three's winter coats out, and also use a rubber hand mitt with rubber teeth which is also good for getting it out.
As said, congratulations and looking forward to hearing more about him, and seeing more pics in the weeks, months, years to come.

Someone just PM'd me asking about the fine toothed gadget i spoke of. I honestly can't remember the name of it, but i think i got it from Homebase, but also seen them in places like Wilkinsons etc? My one has a grey and red handle with the fine tooth comb on the end which is rotational for left and right handed people. Handy really, because i am left handed, and my partner is right handed However, as said, excellent for getting the undercoat out. Some people have also used a fine toothed hack-saw blade with apparent success?

We sell "Rakes" and they are excellent as many of you who have bought them will vouch for. They pull all the undercoat out remove all the dead hair, we sell them at all of our shows, but if anyone wants one we will always post them out.
Please pm Pat for more details.
