Hi Sharon,
When you say recreation centre, is that Putteridge or the one in St Thomas's Road?
We do mostly road walking, but we sometimes do the circular walk from South Beds Golf Club, up to Stopsley, passing through Butterfield Green, down past Bushmead, then land back where we started.
We're always happy to try pastures new. If you PM me, perhaps we can meet up some time.
A chap round the corner has a rescue Greyhound from RATS. He's my only contact locally to the world of Greyhounds and we just talk and talk about all things Greyhound. We did find out that our 2 are related through the Top Honcho connection.
The only time I've seen greyhounds around here is when I have been in the car, never when we are out and about when it is easy to chat to people.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Pat

Hi Pat
We walk Tia behind the one in ST Thomas's road. She loves it up there and she does go off lead. She hates running unless there is snow, so all she does is walk in between myself and my husband Andy. Would love to meet up. Andy is off work at mo as he has cancer so walks we enjoy very much. I dont know how to pm or i would. Not sure how else to get in contact without putting my number on here.
Look forward to hearing your reply

Hi Sharon
It was great to meet up with you all today. Tia was lovely and it was great to see her running free.
I've never walked that particular area before - is it Stopsley Common?
I know Molly and Fizz enjoyed themselves. No sooner do they get in the car than they were asleep. When we got home Fizz finished her breakfast and hasn't surfaced again.
It was certainly a cold one today, and I think Fizz's red ears were just caused by the cold because they are now back to their normal colour.
Look forward to meeting up again.
Take care
Pat

and then there 3......
Hi Jason
Sounds good to me. Just PM me when you are up for a walk.
I think to date I've probably only seen half a dozen greys round here in the past 18 months.
By the way Fizz and Lionel are related through Top Honch and Droopys Fergie.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jason
With this response, I'll keep Sharon and Andy in the loop and perhaps some time soon we can all meet up.
Just a thought, how's Lionel with smaller dogs?
