I have a Land Rover Defender which is great for travelling with a dog in the back, in fact you could fit a few in there! Penny loves it in there and wants to be inside my truck even if I'm just doing some work to it and not actually driving it!
Shell has a Peugeot 306 estate which is great because the 306 is a small car but the estate version has a nice big boot and Penny is always very comfy in that too.

my husband drives a modus, they are a small car but the space in the back seat is ideal for prince plus the boot is big and you can move the back seats forward for a bigger space. we have had 2 greyhounds in the car and there is plenty of room. as for the insurance and all that i`m not so sure as i don`t drive, but i think it is pretty reasonable.

I've got an Vauxhall Agila (old shape). Put 1 or 3 seats down. I've had 2 greyhounds and Molly (YorkieX) in the back with room to spare.

We have a Ford Mondeo Estate, Fords are best bought via a Ford Direct dealer though otherwise you pay through the nose just to say your car's new. Tons of space in the boot, will take two greys as long as they're both not massive and put the seats down and you'll get three to four in. We went for an estate so the boot line was low getting in and out is easier for the more mature houndie.

We now have a VW Passat Estate (old shape) and it's fabulous for the bozos They both fit in the boot perfectly and can see out from all angles (very important - especially for Madam Gracie Lu who tends to stand up - even for long journeys!)
