Yet when we went to the Suffolk Dog Day at Hintlesham Hall last summer, there were hundreds of dogs there of all shapes and sizes and Dudley just walked past them all, quite unconcerned. He behaved impeccably because it was neutral territory. Exactly. We go on GW walks, and not once any of mine have had a go at any of the numerous other greyhounds there, or any other dog they might come across. You might occasionally hear the rare growl, but as said, it is nothing vicious, or any harm has ever been done. And it's a great way to socialise your dogs too.

Wow. Thanks everyone for their input on this thread. I really thought Trevor and I were of a small minority with this problem. I will definatly contact Battersea dogs home! Trevor is getting so much better when we are out, and to be honest I'm sure I make matters worst as I do tend to panick when a dog comes bounding up to us and I tense up on that lead making things worst by the sound of things. But I am trying hard not to do it! thank you everyone.
