I'm actually called Hetty now and have really found my feet or should I say paws. I took a few weeks to really embrace the "walking" thing and was famous around this way for being the "mannequin" dog but my new owners were SO patient and now I'm taken to the school where I naturally have a HUGE fan base and now go on much longer walks where I have found lots of new friends some of which I believe I'm related to! This Droopys Scolari is a bit of a lad! _ I'm allowed to have the final lick of the greek yogurt as a treat and get the comfy sofa most of the time. I like to run off with the odd shoe or my freshly washed blanket which I steal from the washing line and panic my owners running around the garden throwing it in the air - oh what fun! I've overheard my new people saying what an absolute gem I am and how they love it when I chatter to them when I'm happy which I can confess I think I am - VERY happy. One of the best bit is I can make my people smile just by being me. Hetty x Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Hetty,
That is so nice to see you are so settled, your email made me smile. You are such a clever dog to be able to write, does your new owners know you use their computer.....sshhh, I'd keep that quiet if I was you. Also a little tip for you, you can go online shopping and buy lots of nice treats for yourself, smart collars, dog biscuits, and some nice fashionable greyhound wear....again don't let on you know this, or else we will both be in trouble!
Have a GREYT day Hetty, so glad you are doing well, and your photos are lovely by the way, I showed Ollie and even he looked twice at you!
Love Jo and Ollie (Pickapocketortwo)

Ok - I confess I DON'T do the typing my female owner does - please don't think any less of me! We too live in Herts (Harpenden) - you never know we might bump into each other - apparently I'm so well behaved they don't mind taking me anywhere - so far the coffee shops are the best but we'll be upgrading to pubs soon. Oh and you can't tell from my photos but we're almost identical apart from the toes (mine are white) - must dash going on long walk in the sun...... Hetty

Hi Debbie, Andrew and Gus, it was great to meet you at the craft fair in Harpenden last month and to hear all about Hetty - looks and sounds as if she has well and truly settled into family life and the Harpenden social scene.

Lovely to hear from you Pat and to be remembered as well! Yep Hetty is VERY well settled - in fact she's got us sussed and as we were enjoying a nice cuppa in the garden we noticed her fly past at speed with a glove she'd "lifted" - so we did as most people would and we retrieved said glove only to turn and see she'd helped herself to our mug of tea we'd deserted .....as you can see butter wouldn't melt in her mouth......not that I'm going to test that!
